Dan Sanders, Owner
Dan’s introduction to the landscape industry was in high school when he started a landscape maintenance business with his brother. A passion for the Rocky Mountain West, plants and the outdoors led Dan to study Landscape Design and Construction Management at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. After college, Dan was recruited to join a landscape design-build firm in Denver, CO, where he worked in design and project management for 6 years.
In 2010, Dan moved to Jackson, WY and founded Enhance Designscapes, a landscape design-build company. For 10 years, Enhance Designscapes served the landscape and lighting needs of Jackson, WY and Teton Valley, ID. In 2020, Dan merged Enhance Designscapes with a local Jackson company, where he managed the landscape construction and holiday light divisions. In 2022, he embarked on a new chapter founding Sanders Land & Light.
A proud parent of two young boys, Dan spends his free time sharing his passion for the outdoors with his children. When not attending youth hockey and lacrosse tournaments, they can be found fishing the rivers, wandering the woods, or skiing the Tetons.
